Ya’ll I can’t even! I’m completely overwhelmed and giddy at this nomination because 1. I’m like a newborn babe when it comes to blogging. {heck my writing still hasn’t shed it’s proverbial lanugo yet} and 2. I resembled my pug pup when he hears a cellophane wrapper opening whenever I read my blog on the list of nominees, overly excited but having no idea where to even start! SO with that being said if I totally screw this up, please forgive me because like I said before, I’m new! I was nominated in my post from January 25, 2018 Words Society has Forgotten. by Wrae {even her name is super cool}

Thanks so much for the nomination! I love your blog because it’s always something different and REAL and enlightening and..well..it’s just a soft place to land when it’s been a hard day.

What is a Mystery Blogger Award?

The creator of this award, Okoto Enigma, says “It’s an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.”

The Rules Are:

  • Put the award logo/image on your blog.
  • List the rules.
  • Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog, as well as to the specific post in which you were nominated. That way, the blogger who nominated you will receive a Pingback and know that you posted your answers and will be able to read them!
  • Mention the creator of the award.
  • Tell your readers 3 things about yourself.
  • Nominate 10-20 people.
  • Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog.
  • Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice, with one weird or funny question (specify).
  • Share your link to your best post (s).

Three things about myself:

  1. I won a writing essay when I was in second grade and in high school I wrote short stories that I kept in a three-ring binder which I hid under my bed so my siblings and parents wouldn’t find it.{They were kinda risqué, <–this was before I was Saved.}
  2. I never was big into playing with baby dolls or dreamed about having kids and 2 weeks before finding out I was pregnant at 17 with my oldest daughter I looked my uncle square in the eyes and told him I was NEVER having kids. {I now have 4}
  3. In high school I aspired to move out of my small sleepy hometown and make it big in a big city {every kids dream right?!} but never made it out until taking my second daughter to Atlanta for the Aquarium which was when I realized I HATE big cities and would much rather stick to my dusty dirt roads and creaky front porch swings.

My questions from Wrae:

  1. What is your go-to favorite restaurant? A little Mexican restaurant in Valley Grande, the chips are the crispest, the gouda the cheesiest, and the owner is the friendliest!{I think we have had to pay maybe 6 times tops, Miguel always beats us to the register!}
  2. What was your favorite subject in school? ART! Mrs. Taylor was da bomb!
  3. What is your not-so-favorite household chore? I’m a mother of 4 littles–LAUNDRY. {seriously though what’s the point in folding it?!}
  4. What do you like most about blogging? I like how I can sit down with sometimes only one word and the rest of the article just pieces itself together, like an out-of-body experience, I know I’m wrestling something but I don’t know what it is until the article is finished and I realize it for myself..and then I share it with the world in case someone else needs it too.
  5. What color do you wear the most? My favorite color of all time {ask my mom}. Red.
